SPM Design

Wheel House Hemming

KGHIROTEC has developed several concepts for this robotic wheelhouse hemming tool which works for single or double layer spot-welded wheel house rims. This tool enables the customer to improve the vehicle styling by fitting larger tyres without concern for tyre/body interference.

Analysis of Crank Box

As part of a new hemming press concept, KGHIROTEC analyzed and optimized the design of the Crank box casting to withstand the forces during the hemming process. The results of the optimization were validated with real world testing, achieving 1.5m cycles to date without failure.

Product Design

KGHIROTEC creates parametric 3D part models from the 2D drawing supplied by the client inform of Tiff images/Paper drawings/PDF files/AUTOCAD drawings.

CAD Automation

KGHIROTEC has created custom tools in CAD packages like Unigraphics NX & CATIA V5 that enhances productivity and user friendliness. Automated tools are also created to minimise manual work wherever possible leading to improved quality and design cycle time.
